Bank Base Rate Update

The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee in October 2008, at long last decided to reduce the base rate to 4.5%, with the possibility of a further base rate cut in Novemeber.

The good news is that some lenders have started to drop their fixed and tracker rates.
